Does Tronix Country sell usedor refurbished products?
No. All of our items are brand new and come with the manufacturers’ warranty. The products we deliver are high quality from well known manufacturers. In fact, we use the very same computers our customers receive. We know the quality because we rely on it.
Does Tronix Country work with home based and small business owners?
Yes. This is one of the larger groups we serve and have been able to help provide technology solutions so the business owners can focus on setting their business running.
Is Tronix Country a credit repair company?
No. We are a consumer electronics company that will finance computers and TVs depending on how you pay us during your initial layaway purchase period. Once we finance your balance we will then report how you pay us to the credit bureaus, both positively and negatively. This can be considered a value add service for those people who have experienced past credit problems and want to demonstrate to other potential lenders that they are creditworthy.
Will past credit problems affect me?
No. Past credit problems will not affect you. We ignore the past and start fresh. All that we ask is that you build credit with us by establishing a short payment history and then we will approve you for Accelerated Shipping of your brand new LCD TV or name brand computer. It’s that easy.
How long does it take to receive my merchandise?
After you receive confirmation for delivery of your merchandise and we have received your completed shipping instructions, please allow three to six weeks for the delivery of your purchase.
Can I make extra payments to receive my TV or computer faster?
Yes. You can pay as much extra as you want after you make your first payment. All you have to do is contact our customer service department and we’ll take your payment instructions over the phone.
Why are our prices higher than other retailers?
Our program is not for everyone. Tronix Country realizes that sometimes bad things can happen to good, hard-working people. That’s why we specialize in serving people who’ve had past credit problems. Sometimes credit problems happened because of unforeseen circumstances, like job loss, medical bills, and even divorce. Other times it can be because of prior abuse with credit that was granted or simply because the person applying for credit has no prior credit history.
Having credit is a privilege that no company is required to offer. As you know, having credit is a matter of trust and a promise, the promise that the person receiving the credit will pay back the company that is providing the credit. When a person’s payment history is not consistent with that promise to pay the loan back, it can become extremely difficult to obtain future financing.
Banks and other lenders are often not willing to take a risk on a person with a bad credit history, which can leave them with few -- if any -- options. Tronix Country is willing to take that chance, but it is reflected in our higher prices. This is no different than how an insurance company sets its rates for policy premiums. If you’ve been in a lot of accidents, your insurance rate will reflect it. The truth is that we all pay higher prices because of waste, mismanagement, abuse and default. It’s built into the prices of everything we buy.
While we realize our prices are often higher than some other retailers, they tend to be lower than a rent-to-own option. For people who have sufficient cash or can obtain financing from other means in order to make a purchase outright, our program is most likely not for you. If you need your merchandise immediately, we suggest you investigate other alternatives. But for those people without the immediate means and who want to participate in our program, we offer a chance to get your product through our Accelerated Shipping program. We encourage consumers to examine all of their options before making a purchase decision so they can choose what’s best for them and their individual situation.
How is my merchandise delivered?
All purchased large item merchandise is delivered through a major carrier like FedEx or UPS. If you instruct us to deliver to your residence, we highly recommend that you, or another member of the household, be there to sign for the merchandise. Major carriers have changed their policies so that the driver can leave your merchandise at your front door. This opens the possibility of someone taking your merchandise. We always recommend you provide a shipping address where someone can sign for your shipment.
What if I have problems or need technical support?
No problem. All of our items come with a minimum one year manufacturer warranty on parts and labor. On certain warranty plans, a certified repair person will come out to your home and fix the item at no charge to you. We recommend all customers work with the manufacturer to ensure proper documentation of any problems for warranty compliance.
Is my computer set up for high speed internet access?
Yes. Whether it’s a desktop or laptop, your computer system is compatible with all high speed Internet services. High speed Internet can be obtained from your cable service provider. As well, most phone companies offer high speed Internet, but only in certain areas. If you purchase a laptop from us and you want cellular broadband, be sure you include that upgrade in your purchase. All desktop systems do not come with a modem built into them.
What type of payment plans do you offer?
We offer convenient weekly, bi-weekly (every two weeks), twice monthly (two times a month) and monthly* payment plans. It doesn’t matter, we work around your payment schedule, so it makes it easier for you to budget the payments.
* Monthly payment plans require a minimum of three months of payments before being approved for Accelerated Shipping financing.
Are there any hidden costs or fees?
No. Your payment plan includes shipping, interest charges (if applicable) and handling fees. Sales tax (when applicable) is extra.
How much total is your standard Desktop and Laptop systems?
The total for the desktop system is $1,658.48. This includes the $99 activation fee (applies to all new accounts), the price of the computer, shipping & handling and interest. The total for the laptop system is $2,178.48. This includes the $99 activation fee (applies to all new accounts), the price of the computer, shipping & handling and interest. These prices assume your account does not go into default and you make your payments on time throughout the program. These prices also include any free gifts and/or upgrades included with your paid purchase.
I can buy for less someplace else
Yes, there are many choices before you. Most retailers require full payment prior to receiving the merchandise. That means you must either already have the credit in place to finance your purchase or be able to pay for it with cash. That’s why their prices are often more competitive. We don’t compete with these retailers. Instead, we are primarily a competitive alternative with rent to own programs, which typically require longer payment periods (up to two years) before you can own your merchandise outright. Our program is only for one year. The drawback is that you must establish a payment history prior to receiving your merchandise. The good news is that you’ll own it sooner and likely pay a lot less than a rent to own program. We simply don’t compete against big box retailers and manufacturers.
Will I own the product after I finish the program?
Yes. This is not a rent-to-own program. Once you pay off your purchase balance, you will own your TV or computer outright.
What if I want to return the merchandise, can I?
Yes. If, before the first seven days after delivery of your merchandise, you decide to return or exchange it, a pre-paid restocking fee of 15% of the sales price will be charged to your Account. Returned merchandise must be in new condition with the manufacturer warranty still valid.
Can I cancel my account?
Yes. If you cancel your signed contract prior to payment in full, there is a $175 Early Termination Fee. The reason we charge this fee is that we incur expenses in servicing your account. Any funds paid in excess of this fee are promptly refunded as store credit.
Do you ever offer special promotions?
Yes. From time to time we will offer special promotions and free items with your purchase. Our terms state these promotions are delivered provided your account does not go into default status between your purchase date and your final payment, whether you are financed or not. These items are offered as incentives to start, remain and finish as good paying customers and are shipped after twelve months from your first regular payment or when the balance is paid in full (whichever occurs first). We believe that good paying customers should be rewarded, which is why we offer such incentives.
Privacy and use of information
We do not share or rent any information about our customers with other firms with the exception of those firms that we're partnered with and are performing a service related to the servicing of your account. We respect our customers’ privacy and the sensitive nature of the information that is provided. We value the standards in place when it comes to privacy issues and (when we can) attempt to exceed them.
What happens if I need to suspend my account for a short period, but want to stay with the program?
We want to work with all of our customers and we realize that sometimes unexpected things can happen. Our policy is that if you suspend your account and then re-activate it, we want you to start over on making the consecutive payments in order to get your merchandise shipped early.
What happens if I miss a payment before receiving my merchandise?
Your payment history is one of the chief factors we look at when evaluating your account. Missing a payment beforehand increases the risk factor of the account going into default after shipping the merchandise. Consequently, we ask that the customer pay more down on the merchandise prior to it being shipped. This is how we lower the risk with our customers. We add no less than six weeks’ worth of payments for each missed payment to the initial payments required in order to ship your merchandise early. In short, we're asking that you put more money down on the merchandise before it is shipped if you miss a payment. If you miss a lot of payments we may require that you pay your balance in full before shipping.
Recording phone calls
Calls are recorded for quality. In some cases we use them to help quickly resolve any potential misunderstanding or situation. This helps to both protect the company and the customer. It has proven a tremendous value in being able to resolve situations quickly and efficiently to all parties’ mutual satisfaction. When a caller calls our sales or customer service department, the greeting notifies them that the call may be recorded.
